Who We Are

We are a California based 
Company.

My name is Paul, I’m the creator of CalPixel. I’m a Californian, but I have lived in many places. I grew up in the United Kingdom, in Liverpool. I have lived in different cities and worked for different people, including myself. I have had many professions, but I have always found my heart belongs to photography. Photography is my passion, my life, and the thing that drives me everyday to discover new things. 

​From my early days of taking black and white photos on my first camera, capturing and processing my images, to recent astro photography. I photograph things that make me feel something. It may sound weird, but it’s the truth – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I believe perfection is possible and I want to bring it out in every picture.

I have a background in sales, as a top producing agent. When I’m not selling and closing the deal, I’m glued to my camera. I like to go hiking with my family. In my spare time, I love to work with charitable organizations. I’m a Shriner and a Mason. I live in Northern California with my wife and my two children.

​Running a client-friendly, service-oriented business, I believe that great creativity often is the result of team effort and values working closely with my clients.

I decided after many years to start my own studio. CalPixel is a new creation that I hope to share with the world. Come along with me down a path that is paved with opened minds and trusting eyes and see the world through my lens, my heart, and my emotions.
